As an expert in fluid transfer and storage since 1923, the U2R group has expanded the presence of its brands across the globe. This strong presence enables us to support our customers by offering tailored solutions to meet their specific needs, no matter where they are located.

In numbers, the U2R group offers 30,000 referenced products, including 7,000 items in permanent stock that can be delivered worldwide within a few days. Many of these products are designed by our teams, according to our own specifications, and manufactured in our factory in northern France. These advantages contribute to our appeal beyond borders. In fact, the company is recognized as one of the leading manufacturers of diesel transfer pumps in Europe.

2 Types of Export Customers

  • Resellers in the agricultural, industrial, construction, automotive, and petroleum sectors. This mainly includes countries located near France, such as Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg, and Spain.
  • Importers, distributors, and wholesalers with whom we primarily engage in large-scale exports. They are located in Africa, Australia, and other regions.

Presence in Over 35 Countries

Internationally, our strongest presence is in South Africa, Belgium, and Réunion. Just like in France, we have built lasting relationships with our foreign clients. Many of them have been our partners for over fifteen years.

«I joined Usines de Rumaucourt in 2008. The company already had experience in exporting its products since its establishment in 1977. Shortly after, in 2009, Bruno CHESNEL acquired the company and gave it a new dimension by creating the U2R group. I have been part of this entity since its inception.

As the Head of Export Department at U2R group, my role involves overseeing the entire export process. This includes prospecting for new clients, managing existing clients, and ensuring compliance with regulations in each of the countries we work with.

Today, I am accompanied by an assistant, Margaux CATTIAUX, who joined the company last year. I mainly handle the commercial aspects, while she takes care of sales administration (order entry, preparation of delivery orders, document preparation, etc.).

One of the strengths of our department is the cross-functional relationships we have with other teams in the company. For example, we collaborate closely with the shipping department to prepare all the necessary customs documentation, such as certificates of origin, certificates of conformity, and additional documentation. I often visit the production department before confirming a delivery deadline to the client or the logistics department to inform them that a container is undergoing inspection before shipment. In the export department, we are involved from upstream to downstream processes.

Having two types of customer base further enhances this diversity of topics. It involves two distinct ways of working and allows me to have expertise in a wider range of products.

Lastly, my main mission is customer and prospect interaction. I value this privileged and individual connection. I make every effort to ensure that they are satisfied with their experience with the U2R group, which requires a high level of responsiveness and adaptability.
